Cumbernauld Village

Community Council

Community Councils are funded by the local authorities in Scotland. Find out more about how they work on North Lanarkshire's website. You can contact your local community council for representation and support, or for information on becoming involved and active in your local community. The village community council meets on the second Thursday of the month at 7.30pm in the Village Hall.  The meetings are open to the public. They are friendly and informal and new faces are made very welcome. The current chair of the community council is Philip Morgan-Klein.

Cumbernauld Village Action for the Community is an action group which works with the Village Community Council to make improvements to the Village environment.  It meets on the first wednesday of the month at 7.30pm in the Village Hall. The meetings are members only but CVAC is looking for new members. Email cnauldvac@gmail.com if you would like further information.
